2011 Horsemanship Summits June 22-26 & Aug 17-21

Whether you’ve never touched a horse or are looking for experience in more advanced riding, this Summit is for you! During your one-on-one daily instructional period, choose what topic you would like to focus on. Some of the many choices are handling of young colts, trailer loading, ground manners, re-schooling older horses, green breaking, basic Farrier skills, etc. You may also bring your own horse to work with, so that this Summit can be a learning experience for both of you! The Horsemanship Summit starts at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and goes to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sign in is at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. SPACE IS LIMITED! Hope to see you there!

Beginning Trick Riding

Beginning Barrel Racing

Team Driving and Harnessing
Round Pen Basics

Neck Raining

CHA Test
(Test based on the Certified Horsemanship Association Test, you will not receive a certificate through CHA, but through HGMM)

Please note that topics may or not be one-on-one based on the nature of the topic and/or interest level.

Ages: 8 and up (recommended)

These prices are for the WHOLE camp NOT per day!

Every child must have an ASTM SCI approved equine riding helmet!
Helmets will be available for purchase or one can be rented for $10!
