P.T.L Leadership Retreat March 3-6

P.T.L. (Prepare To Lead) Leadership Retreat- This camp is for young people 14 and up (or those that will be 14 in the 2011 camp season), who have a desire to serve on staff in the ministry. We will be going over topics on how to become a good leader/role model. Topics covered: Basic problem solving when dealing with staff and children, how to properly do a fun educational skit, how to disciple others, being a... leader not a follower, having a vision for what God wants you to do beyond tomorrow, understand personality types, love languages and Spiritual Gifts, learning how to have an appropriate working relationship with people, how to lead children song time and devotionals, being safe around horses, basic riding and more. This is not going to be all learning and no fun, we are also planning a special theme dinner Saturday night! This years theme is the "Old West" so if you can, bring the best of your western threads and join us for a real "Old West" style steak dinner and lots of fun! Throughout the weekend we are intertwining recreation for you to enjoy during this RETREAT with other like minded Christian young people! This should be an edifying and relaxing time of fellowship and refreshment.

During the weekend we will focus on the book of Ephesian. The Jr. leaders are ages 14-19 and Sr. leaders will be ages 20 and up. We have a nice mixture of young and older leadership attending this year, so no matter what you age you will be you sure to fit right in with the team. We believe that a team is not complete useless you have a good mixture of both younger and older leadership!
There is no cost for the leadership camp this year and it is open to any with a interest and desire to develop leadership skills in their life. Please feel free to share this with someone you know that would be interested! You do not have to attend the PTL Retreat in order to serve with us this coming year, nor do you have to serve at one of the camps if you attend the retreat!

Camp begins Thursday March 3rd at 5:00 p.m. and ends Sunday March 6th at 3:00 p.m. we understand due to school and work some will not be able to make it in on Thursday, so we have concentrated most of our major training and highlights to Fri late afternoon through Saturday evening!
